The head coach Scottish premier league Livingston  David Martindale said he handed the Nigeria international an  opportunity to have money and settle his fines by handing him his debut as per report from soccerstat Lawal was part of the Flying Eagle's team that reached the quarter final at the 2023 FIFA World which took place in Argentina where he scored 1 goal in 4 appearances, he joined Livingston this summer on a 3 years contract. Former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has been named the new manager of Argentinian outfit Club Atletico Independiente according to report. After the resignation of Ricardo Zielinski from his position at the Argentine Primera Division club after their defeat against Colon , he is now ready to take charge. The 39-year-old is looking to strenthen the squad and has already asked for three signings to complete the squad, according to reports in Argentina. After he ended his playing career in 2022, The Argentine  took his first managerial job in the Argentine Primera Division with Rosario Central where he guided them to 20th place on the log of 28 teams, he resigned 5 months after taking the job. Carlos Tevez stated that  the club's presidential elections was the main reason he left the club as he doesn't want to involve in politics as he doesn't like  his name to be put on politics and thats the reason he steped aside.

Former Super Eagles striker Joseph Akpala has expressed his willingness to become a manager one of Belgium Pro League giant football clubs, Club Brugge, according to report from soccernet.ng Joseph Akpala is now working as an assistant manager  with KV Kortrijk after his playing career but his dream now is to become the top man. His history with with the Belgian side, where he once graced the pitch and became a beloved figure among fans, show's how connected is with the club. In his 167 appearance for the club, he scored a total 57 goal, he was name the Belgian First Division too scorer in 2008. Daniel Akpala said he will not call it a dream to return to Club Brugge as a coach.. He candidly shares, “I wouldn’t call it a dream, but if I ever get the chance, I would certainly be happy with it,” in an interview with Krant van West-Vlaanderen.
